This upgrade is not done frequently, but we recognize the necessity of this change to ensure our products and services remain current and relevant in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. Our existing technology has served us well for over 34 years; however, these upgraded products and services will further enhance the banking experience we provide for you, our clients. This upgrade will enable us to serve you better, whether you are banking online, using our Croghan app, or visiting us in person at any of our 18 office locations.

Why are we performing a technology upgrade?
As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering personalized services through innovative technologies, the new state-of-the-art technology will enhance your banking experience with Croghan Colonial Bank, making it easier, faster, more secure, and more convenient.
How does the upgrade affect security?
It improves it! You may not notice any particular security features, but the updated technology provides us with more safety controls on the system’s backend.
Is Online Banking changing?
There will be a new look and feel to Online Banking; however, you will continue to login via the button on our Croghan.bank homepage. If you have bookmarked the URL for Online Banking, you will need to update the link.
Why do I need to change my Online Banking password?
Our new online banking system has more robust security in place and requires passwords to meet the following requirements. A mixture of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and must be between 14-32 characters in length.
Along with enhanced security, our mobile banking app will allow easy sign-on with Face ID and Touch ID. You can also use a password vault to help manage your passwords.
Will Croghan offices be open during the upgrade?
All offices will be closed from Saturday, February 14, 2026, through President’s Day, Monday, February 16, 2026. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Will there be a new Mobile Banking App?
On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, you will need to uninstall the current app on your phone, open the app store, and download the new Croghan Mobile Banking app.
Will my debit card work during the upgrade?
Yes. Debit card purchases, withdrawals, and point-of-sale transactions will be available with reduced limits.
Can I use ATMs during the upgrade?
Yes, ATMs will be available for cash withdrawals; however, you cannot access your account information, such as balance inquiries.
