At Croghan Colonial Bank, community impact starts from within. Through our Croghan Cares initiative, employees across offices and departments are empowered to support local nonprofits that not only work to support the needs of the communities they serve, but also hold a special place in their hearts.  

Since 2021, Croghan Cares has helped fund employee-led giving to a wide range of organizations — including Alicia’s Closet, Relay for Life, Wreaths Across America, Welcome House, Angel’s Among Us Outreach, and Wounded Soldiers Fund, among many others. These efforts span Sandusky, Erie, Huron, Seneca, Lucas, Ottawa, and Cuyahoga counties, ensuring support stays local and meaningful. 

Rather than directing donations from the top down, Croghan trusts employees to lead the way. From IT and Retail teams to Commercial Lending and individual offices, participation across the bank reflects a shared belief that local insight creates the greatest impact.
